Innovating with AI to Transform Finance

Robert Yenokyan is an Armenian artificial intelligence (AI) expert, entrepreneur, and educator, currently serving as the founder and CEO of Bonton AI, a company specializing in AI-driven solutions for financial markets. His work focuses on leveraging machine learning, data analytics, and quantitative modeling to automate and optimize trading strategies, particularly in the cryptocurrency sector.

Yenokyan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business from the American University of Armenia (AUA). His capstone thesis, titled "Developing a Framework for Forecasting Financial Time Series Using Wavelet-LSTM Hybrid Model," received the prestigious C-Quadrat Student Award on Asset Management and Pension Economics from the Armenian Economic Association.

An accomplished educator, Yenokyan has taught courses such as Data Visualization, R for Economic Data Analysis, and Geospatial Data Analysis with R. He was a lecturer in the Yerevan State University Master's program in Applied Statistics and Data Science, where he taught Data Visualization, and also served as a research assistant at the American University of Armenia.

With extensive experience as a technical team lead, Yenokyan has mentored and led teams of machine learning engineers and data science specialists to build enterprise-grade AI solutions. His projects span diverse applications, including demand forecasting, customer churn prediction, targeted marketing, and financial data extraction, as well as developing AI algorithms for cryptocurrency trading, deception detection, wheat yield prediction, and utility pole detection.

As a seasoned conference speaker, Yenokyan has presented at prominent events such as BarCamp Yerevan and the BIG DATA Summit, where he has spoken on topics including GPT-3 and effective data visualization techniques.
